Misa Narrates is a Stellenbosch University graduate, having pursued a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. She is an accomplished creative artist with backgrounds in the performing arts including, but not limited to, poetry, creative writing, film, and music.

In 2018, Festival Politicos, a docu-series she co-produced, was nominated for Best Web Series at the Zanzibar International Film Festival. She also possesses a multilingual and multicultural background, with dual citizenship from South Africa and the United States of America.

Her writing career took off in 2016 with the launch of her personal blog and brand. Since then, she has produced content for a variety of entertainers, media outlets, and brands in South Africa and abroad.
