Carlos Amato is the editorial cartoonist for the Mail & Guardian and NewFrame.com. He also writes on sport, politics and culture, and his work has appeared in Die Welt, The Economist 1843, Schweizer Illustrierte and many South African publications. His book for young readers "Wayde van Niekerk: Road to Glory" (Jonathan Ball Publishers) is available at all good bookstores. He lives in Joburg with his wife and two children.
